The High Court of Judicature at Bombay has released an official notification inviting online applications for the post of Personal Assistant to the Hon’ble Judge at the Principal Seat, Bombay. A total of 35 vacancies (Select List) and 09 vacancies (Wait List) are announced. The recruitment list will remain valid for two years.

Educational Qualification for Bombay High Court Recruitment 2025:
1. Must hold a University Degree (Preference for Law Graduates).
Relaxation: Stenographers with 8–10 years’ service in Court/Govt. offices.
2. Must have passed English Shorthand exam @ 120 w.p.m. or above.
3. Must have passed English Typing exam @ 50 w.p.m. or above.
4. Must possess a Computer Proficiency Certificate (MS Office/Word/Linux/Open Office etc.) as per Maharashtra Govt. rules.
Other Conditions:
Must be an Indian citizen with good character.
Candidates with criminal cases, more than 2 children (born after 28/03/2006), or multiple spouses are not eligible.

Selection Process
The recruitment will be conducted in three stages:
1. Shorthand Test (40 marks) – Dictation & transcription.
2. Typing Test (40 marks) – English typing accuracy & speed.
3. Viva-voce (20 marks) – Personal Interview.
